Questions About WallAllure Wall Stickers
How long does delivery take within Australia?
We ask that you allow 7 days for delivery of your order although in some instances you may end up receiving it the very next day. We cut the majority of our stickers to order so please be patient while we hand-make yours. We don't offer an Express Post option as it tends to not make much difference to delivery time once the stickers are ready to go. If you are desperate to have your order in time for a particular date you are welcome to contact us to see if we can accommodate this but we can't always guarantee that we can get your order done any faster so it's best to place your order at least 7 days before you need it.
How long does delivery take to overseas destinations?
We ask that you allow at least 2 weeks for overseas delivery. How removable are they?
Wall Allure wall stickers are normally very removable. We recommend that you do not stick them on old or flaking paint, walls that haven't been painted with an undercoat or walls that are in direct sunlight. Always use a hairdryer when removing the stickers. Can I re-use them or reposition them?
If you buy regular Wall Allure Wall Stickers - No you can't! Once they are up they are up so plan your scene before adhering. Although they are sticky enough to re-use most of the stickers in this range are in many small pieces and can't be re-stuck without the application tape used when initially applying. If you buy Wall Allure Fabric Finish Re-positionable stickers - Yes you can! Our new fabric finish stickers are re-positionable but please note they are best when only moved a couple of times. They are not toys and will eventually lose their 'stick' so remember to still plan your scene to minimise the need to move repeatedly.
Do Wallallure make custom stickers?
Yes we do!Will it damage the wall?
Wallallure stickers are suitable for smooth interior and some exterior surfaces. It is recommended that you do not use this product on surfaces that have old, flaking paint on them, and please allow freshly painted surfaces to cure for at least 4 weeks before you apply the stickers. Wallallure wall stickers have successfully been applied and removed from many surfaces. If you are concerned about your paint work, just send us an email and request a sample. Test the sample in a inconspicuous place and let us know how you go, any questions just ask!
Please note: Due to the wide variety of surfaces, their conditions and the users techniques, Wall Allure cannot be held responsible for any difficulties experienced when removing the designs or any damage left to the surfaces.
Can I put them on glass/windows?
Wallallure stickers look fabulous on glass. The vinyl is the same colour on both sides so even your neighbours can enjoy them! Air bubbles can be a little more obvious on glass so we recommend you pop any bubbles with a straight pin and smooth the air out with your finger tip.Are they ok in the bathroom?
Yes! Wallallure recommend that you apply you stickers in the bathroom when the room is at its driest (i.e., an hour or 2 BEFORE it's used for the day). Once your stickers have been applied we recommend that you wait an hour before running a bath or shower. After this time though it's quite alright for shower spray to make contact with the stickers as they are now water proof. Are they easy to apply?
Very!Where do they come from?
The stickers are hand-made in our Sunshine Coast workshop, hidden in the Noosa Hinterland. What are they made of?
All of Wallallure's stickers are made from high quality vinyl with a modified adhesive designed to adhere to most surfaces yet remain easy to remove without marking walls. How do I stop my toddler peeling them off the wall?
We have found that most toddlers won't try to peel the stickers off the wall if they don't see them being installed. 9 out of 10 cases of our family and friends trying to make a 'sticker project' with their toddlers have returned only a matter of hours later to see the stickers stuck to their littlies eyebrows and knees! We recommend you install them while your toddler is not around but for total confidence we recommend that you apply them at an 'out of reach' height.
They are removable after all!
Can I put them on a rendered concrete or brick wall?
Sorry, no. The moisture content of the brick interferes with the adhesive's integrity and the stickers tend to lose their grip and fall off over time. What if the surface isn't smooth?
If your surface has a textured finish, no rougher than a grapefruit skin, you will need to use a slightly different technique when applying them. To make sure you get the best stick, once it's on the wall, leave the transfer paper on for about 1/2hr and let the adhesive get a good grip on the wall before you pull the transfer paper of gently. Give it another rub over with the palm of your hand every now and then while you're waiting, this will help it really adhere to the uneven surface and give you the best results. The longer you leave it the better the results but about an hour will be more than enough, besides who can wait that long to see the results of your fabulous creation!!However, if your surface is rougher than this, we can't guarantee your stickers will stick!
How can I get rid of air bubbles?
We recommend that you try to eliminate as many bubbles as possible my smoothing your sticker from one side to another with the palm of your hand when initially applying it to your chosen surface. Once it's on the wall, if bubbles remain simply pop them with a straight pin and smooth the air out with your finger tip.--
